Workshop “The Socioeconomic Potential of Land Administration Services”
22-24/05/2014
We are pleased to inform you that the Danish Geodata Agency and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) will hold the workshop “The Socioeconomic Potential of Land Administration Services” on 22 and 23 May 2014 in Copenhagen. There will be a welcome reception on the evening of 21 May 2014.
The theme for the workshop has been chosen for its relevance to countries in the UNECE region that are striving to provide effective and transparent land administration services, not only to support an effective property market but also as a basis for a range of land administration functions that can benefit society as a whole. The purpose of the workshop is to share experiences and present new and alternate uses of open and interoperable property data. The event will provide a great opportunity to share insights and innovations in land administration and to develop strategic and productive relationships with land administration professionals from across the globe.
In the next few weeks, we will send additional information, including instructions for registration.
